Leo is doing well this morning. He did require a blood transfusion overnight as his red blood cell count was down. This was unsurprising as he has had quite a bit of blood drawn over the past two weeks. 

We are waiting for Leo to head off to surgery. They expect him to leave for pre-op around 12:30pm or 1:00pm AZ time (or 2:30-3:00pm CST). He will gone from us approximately three hours, but we will keep you posted as we learn about his progress in the operating room and in recovery. 

BTW-Leo is remarkably good-natured for two-week old baby who hasn't eaten in 12 hours. Not a peep from him yet!
