Bell Trail Tumbler (N.13)

$54.00

I’ve always enjoyed drinking from a tumbler, especially if it’s a mean mint mojito. This guy is perfect for a tall iced drink, or a virgin long island iced tea (if you’re into that kind of thing).

This ware is made from black clay and features bright vibrant colors and local material. After drying, Terra Sigillata, slips, and local aggregate are applied on the vessel's exterior for decoration. I then use stencils to add a text layer of where the local materials originated from. This cup has local materials found on a hike in Bell Trail in Rimrock, Arizona. Then it is glazed and fired to 2200°F. After firing, the piece is wet/dry hand-sanded for a soft, smooth feel. Each hand-made object is unique.
